Back in October I had a wonderful studio visit from a trio of young photographers who are taking part in The International Center for Photography's Teen Academy Program. Layla Cuilan, Lateisha Freeman and Yasmin Smeets are 3 New York City high schoolers who arrived at my studio with a load of interesting questions, sharp, inquisitive eyes and their cameras ready to shoot! Aside from their day of photographing the EFA Studios, they are each working on personal photo projects capturing the compelling stories of their close friends and family.
